LinkedIn Gets Another One Right!

Twitter SettingsLinkedIn’s new Twitter connection has been long in the works; but it was worth the wait! Not only can you now update your LinkedIn status with Twitter, which you DO NOT want to do, but you can target specific Twitter updates to populate your LinkedIn status by including the hastag #in in the Tweets.  Now, that’s insightful.

To add this new feature, updating your status will initiate a pop up box, or you can go to your Account and Settings tab and select “Twitter Settings” under “Profile Settings”.

Now, if we could only get the Tweeters at LinkedIn to understand that followers cannot send them a direct message unless they follow them back… but that’s another story.

Glad to see LinkedIn make this move. With their recent style changes, it makes more sense than ever to update your LinkedIn status more often, and this just makes it easier to do. I use the same style application on Facebook and it’s very convenient.

I was glad to see this as well. I recently was encouraged to revamp and improve my LinkedIn account. I’m glad these interchangeable options exist
