Winning with “Social Authorship”

in Winning With Social Media

We really had no idea we would be writing and releasing a second book less than a year after our first “Rock The World with your Online Presence.”

We regularly visit with a team of advisers to share discoveries and to discuss contacts we make on our speaking and training tour. We told them how, more and more audience members were asking questions and commenting: “I’ve got it! I know I need to be on LinkedIn, but I just don’t know about facebook and this Twitter thing! What do I do?”

The response of our advisers? Focus based on this hot, new idea. Adjust what we are doing and get the next book out, one that addresses these unmet needs. And get it out fast. People vote on what is important to them with their questions, don’t they? That’s why opinion polls are so powerful.  Consumers can have a voice!

Now it is becoming increasingly difficult to find a LinkedIn user not on any other major platform today (such as facebook, Twitter, etc.).  This is a 180 degree flip from even a year ago. So we decided to step up to share what we learned, what strategies work, and to provide a path for the future. Readers of this book will have a vastly superior experience with Social Media vs. those that do not.

The new book, “Rock the World with Social Media: Your Ticket to Successful Online Engagement” is the result of focusing on the needs of our audience and clients.  It is exactly what our advisers need, what our audience needs, and what you need.  it is aimed to service the needs of millions of business professionals already on LinkedIn at some level.  It is a guide INTO social media FROM the LinkedIn world.

As we complete the manuscript and start the process of marketing the book, we’d love to hear from you.  What challenges are you having as a business professional moving from your initial platform onto others?

And stay tuned! The book isn’t out yet; we haven’t even finished the dedicated webpage for it, but we’re blogging and writing and sharing as we build.  Consider subscribing to RocktheWorld Blog and to this one to learn a little bit every day.
